ResponsiveOur goal for this campaign is 100% participation. In fact, if we are able to get all our supporters to contribute (that's you) then a generous benefactor has offered to match every donation made!
FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS Q: Can I donate more or less than $10? A: Absolutely! Every donation is tax-deductible and goes to creating excellent art with communities all over the US and to the economic betterment of each community with which we collaborate. And, since our goal is to get all of our supporters to participate in this campaign, even a $1 contribution will help us reach that goal! Q: What if I want my donation to go towards a specific program? A: Fantastic! We love your feedback on which programs speak to you. Please just shoot us an email at [email protected] and let us know where you would like to see your contribution applied. Theatre$10 makes a big difference.
$10 reimburses community members for travel. Remember2019's Black 'N Da Blues festival took place in an area with no public transportation, and participating musicians had to travel to tour across the Arkansas Delta. $10 makes those miles possible. $10 pays for two community meals. We feed community at each of our events, rehearsals, performances, Story Circles, and readings. We understand that you can't make art if you're living in hunger. Two $10 donations pay for scripts for an entire production. It may not be sexy, but the workshop of a new play uses anywhere from 100 to 1000 pages of printed material (which we are always diligent to recycle at the end of a process). Five $10 donations will pay for the rental of a stand-up microphone on the upcoming production of Anna Karenina. Ten $10 donations hire a local community member to gather stories from their neighbors on the Remember2019 program. Thirty $10 donations pays for a professional Equity actor for an entire week of rehearsals. Full participation of all our supporters (that's you) means we can begin work with another Too Wild To Drill community. Full participation with the matching donation means we can begin another leg of Too Wild To Drill AND commission a playwright to write a new play! |
